Our capacity coaching programs provide expert support by trans leaders, for trans leaders.
Our goal is to provide the support you need to grow a thriving, sustainable organization for long-term changemaking.
How it works
Step One
Reach out and let us know about your organization and your current needs. We typically work with trans-led and -serving organizations with budgets under $1 million.
Step Two
If it's a fit, we'll schedule a strategic intake call to discuss your needs in-depth. This is a valuable opportunity to reflect on your organization's current needs and determine what support would be most helpful.
Step Three
You'll be matched with an expert coach who will design a customized workplan for your team's needs. Your coach will provide individualized support to help your team move through the workplan.
Our most commonly requested coaching topics
We offer over a dozen different capacity coaching topics, but the most common ones focus on growing a sustainable organization for the long term.
Fundraising
We help organizations grow sustainably through trainings in grantwriting and other forms of fundraising -- all tailored for their specific environment.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
Growing organizations learn to manage their incoming funds and set up strong systems for their financial future.
Leadership Coaching
Leaders of growing organizations receive support to enhance their leadership skills as they prepare to make their first hires or manage a growing team.
Skills Development
Organizations can receive help with any number of additional capacity skills: Board development, strategic planning, curriculum development, strategic communications, and more.
Ways to work with us
General Cohort
We hold slots available in the spring and fall for new capacity coaching cohorts. These are no-cost capacity coaching opportunities open to trans-led and serving organizations.
Funder Cohort
We partner with some funders to offer capacity coaching to their existing grantee cohorts. Ask your project officer if their foundation has a capacity partnership with us. This option offers greater availability of start times.
Sliding Scale Cohort
We offer capacity coaching on a sliding scale for organizations working in the LGBTQ+ space or organizations that desire to start a coaching engagement sooner than our no-cost cohorts will allow. Some funders offer capacity building stipends to cover these engagements.
