We Believe This Can Change

Creating the future we want to see

We believe that the path to TGNC liberation must include providing direct resourcing and funding to TGNC organizations who are working most closely and have significant impact in their communities. We believe that those closest to the problem are closest to the solution and TGNC communities have the wisdom, lived experience, and tenacity to solve problems and challenges if trusted with the resources needed to end these disparities.

Transgender Strategy Fund

TSC's grant making prioritizes Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) TGNC-led efforts by recognizing the roles that anti-blackness, racism, and misogyny play in perpetuating social inequities. We are honored to work side-by-side with our donor partners to ensure that funds are reaching people in our communities.

Part of our unique contribution to how we partner with TGNC-led organizations is TSC's ability to offer capacity building at no cost to all grantees. This capacity building is based on what the organization believes will be most helpful to their success including but not limited to executive coaching, communications capacity, grant writing and much more.

“For decades the transgender and gender non-conforming community was invisible in Orange County, CA. This grant represented a beam of light for the local TGNC community that was already in a state of crisis prior to the COVID19 pandemic. And it helped encourage the local TGNC community to organize and advocate for equitable access to basic needs.”
